Lovely hair products - tale of hair regimen

~ ~
Hair style is the final tip-off whether or not a woman really knows herself.  ~Hubert de Givenchy, Vogue, July 1985

Since I had my little experiment with Davines, flamboyage and going blonde I have been using their hair product. It has been a month, and I can say I love them.

Although my hair is not blonde (anymore) I do need to take care of it and treat it with best products. And as it seems, Davines provides me with just the right care for my hair.

Since it has been treated with heavy colors and chemicals, it is more dry than ever (or normally) so nourishing it at least 2 times a week is a must. I have been using shampoo, conditioner and mask, and I can say my hair looks amazing, it is soft and silky. Their products are all about sustainable beauty and being in touch with the nature, which means they use natural products both for colors, shampoos, conditioners etc and their packages too. Being conscious about nature is something I value very much, so choosing Davines for my hair was an easy decision. And they came in a goody bag too :)

But I can say I will buy me another batch of these products and will try their shampoo for keeping hair straight in moist conditions, which is a big problem for me. Can`t wait to try it.

Hair issue // going blond

~ ~

This is quite a big step for me and a radical change of hair color. I have always wanted to have blond hair, but somehow avoided risking and plunging to that change. I was always afraid that the color will turn out too yellow, that it wouldn`t suit me at all etc.

I did try highlights of some kind, and I did in fact destroy my hair once with something, and ended up looking like a bird from Sesame Street. Not what I was going for.

Davines is Italian-based, family-owned company that is well known by its high-end hair care products.

“By Creating beauty sustainably, we encourage people to take care of themselves, of the environment in which they live & work, of the things they love.”

I have an amazing opportunity to participate in a davines hair seminar on Sunday 26 Jan and I am going blond. They plan to showcase their products and hair coloring techniques for blond hair - flamboyage.

So this is it. taking a plunge and risking it all the way. I have to say I am not scared at all and have full confidance that this time I will became my best blond version ever. Fingers crossed!

Let me just show you the look now (soon to be before).

(yeah, I know, I˙m quite the face maker!)

Good bye red/ginger hair, hello blondylocks!
