Pure perfection. I fell in love with this beauty instantly. I can see myself cruising around the town in pretty outfits
on my very own beautiful bixby.

DM X DM

Depeche Mode x Delta Machine

Last night I was on DM concert and had the best time.
I don`t promote or support smoking, I think its a bad and unhealthy habit and this was only for photo purposes.

My friends were teasing me for my outfit, I know, its so ... not Depeche or Dave Gahan,
but I really felt great in these baggy boyfriend jeans (Sisley) and simple white tanks (H&M).
The plaid shirt (C&A) was not originally supposed to be a part of the outfit but since it was cold, I needed something...

So the working title for this so grungy " Kurt Cobain I love you"

Closet doodlings

Some time ago I made this drawing for a lifestyle magazine I am writing for.

Thinking of a full closet and nothing to wear...

Lustworthy eyewear

“Words, like glasses, obscure everything which they do not make clear.”

An innocent visit to fashiolista resulted with drooling session at ZeroUV web store.
So many amazing models to choose from. I picked a few I plan to buy at some point. Soon I hope.
The ultimate pick would be the first pair obviously. I am a total sucker for retro eye wear.

For all the cool finds visit my fashiolista :)

YSL vs SLP story returns

~ ~
Although I really liked YSL/SLPs initiative with M.Manson, I can`t say I have fully embraced their new logo. Seems a bit boring and un-inspirational.

The old one was recognisable through many years, trends and fashion stories and changing it ... I can`t say I understand why. Now its just another name tag.

As for shoes, here is my big YES for this pair. They are absolutely exquisite. And a bit devilish, don`t you think?

Playing HIPster

~ ~
It is not unusual for people to call me a hipster. Sometimes. Although I think I do not deserve the title. I am not that "hip".
Hipsters tend to resent people for being called that, but I actually don't really care. Since I have done my homework and got to know the term "hipster" very well through different sociological studies available on the internet, I can say that being called out a hipster is not a pretty thing.

But if wearing specific clothes and outfits, using specific tools and gadgets makes me one, well than so be it! I will embrace my inner hipster to the bone.

This is me just fooling around and being hip. Totally hipstering-it, right?

Super chic - the ugly shoe

~ ~
First with the title. The ugly shoe. What may be ugly for other, most of the times is super appealing to me. It has became somewhat a rule. If you enter the store full of shoes, I will of course admire all the pretty things displayed, but that special bump and shiver that makes my heart skip a beat would, withouot a doubt go to, in opinion of others, the ugliest shoe in the store.

I like to think that I am just more fashion forward than most people, and that for sure beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. Having that in mind, I went totally nuts when I saw these.

I can already picture myself wearing them with different outfits. From super formal and/or feminine to casual tomboy-ish. My first pick were these super awesome cut-out ankle boots from choies, but they are a bit pricy for me at the time.

What would you pair them with, and what is your stand, in general on these kinds of shoes?

D-D-D-Denim fever

~ ~
When it comes to denim, first thing that pops in most peoples minds is - casual wear. That denim, in fact and most surprisingly can be worn to much dressier occasions (even office) is proved in issue of Vogue china. "Delicate Denim" editorial shows how incredibly versatile denim can truly be.

My favorite is the outfit with dark denim pencil skirt and cut out white top. All the outfits are amazing and depict all the different roles and versions denim can have if you just let it.
I'm seriously considering doing few simple denim DIY inspired by this editorial, to wear, where but work? It should be interesting considering I work in an auditing firm. YAY (not)!

Pieces used in this editorial are from Jean Paul Gaultier, Calvin Klein Collection, Givenchy and Alexander Wang. Outfits are styled by Yi Guo and worn by Bonnie Chen.

p.s. seriously, every time I look at the photos I remain mesmerized. Each is better than the other. Drooling all over. What are your picks?

ShoSho a photoShoot

~ ~

Few weeks ago I had a little photo shoot with my friends. We had so much fun, I tell you, I could do this every single day.

Although the original plan was to shoot outside, due to crazy and unstable morning weather we decided to take the set inside. By the time we were finished, sun came out and it turned out to be a great day, but it was to late to go on previously intended site.

But none the less, the shoot was amazing, I can't decide which photos I love more, these or "behind the scenes" ones (a separate post will follow shortly).

The purpose of this shoot was for a job application, so keep your fingers crossed, today was the final round, so, you can all imagine my impatience.

N.B. the Ray Ban photo reference - a friend/photographer loved that photo so much that he himself decided to put the logo just for kicks. He said I should send it to Ray Ban. So just to be clear, the photo was not made for any commercial purposes and it is owned by me/photographer. Ray Ban has no part in this little shoot. I just love their glasses.

What do you think?
