Asos fall 2013 - want collection

Since ASOS never fails with amazing goods they offer, this is not really some (new) news but just my personal ode to their latest - fall collection.

The fact that it still is mid August and cooler temperatures are more than a month away, doesn't change the fact that ASOS and their collection for fall 2013 made me crazy for rapid change in celsius department.

And the collection is amazing, full of pleats, rich textures and colors, back-to-school-y patterns (just perfect for fall, and what is better for bringing back layers than back to school inspired outfits?) and ensembles.

I love this collection in particular because of its boyish charm that runs through most of the designs and cuts. And to top it all of, there are brogues with gray socks everywhere! They got me at their first outfit. I fell in love with suit ensembles and anything with trousers, actually.

Tartans and pleats, with an occasional polka dot put this collection high on my wishlist. In the "sea" of autumn-y colors and darker mood there are few mood brighteners like playful leopard and bright red, just to spice it up when needed.

I am so ready for fall, are you?

Although weather reports and forecasts are saying different, I am ready to put all my sandals, flip-flops and other summer footwear to their deserved vacation.

 They had a quite a season and it is time for them to take a break.

 

I had a sudden wave of inspiration to take few photos of some of my flats that are just waiting to enter the new season. And the fact I am currently at home, feeling a bit under the weather with a cold, and with all that, totally bored. Despite the season 4 of SATC playing on TV.

And I had a quick try and play with collage and filters on pixlr.com. so much fun :)

Although, I presume this was a spring outfit, I think that every fall could use some bright colors.
