May is my favorite month of the year. Not to warm not to cold. Just perfect. Rich in color, life and energy. Everything is in full bloom.

Mothers day is just around the corner, inspirational posts are already flooding the web, labor day is behind us, so we can wear white from head to toe (not that that has stopped us ever before, right?) and bare legs are feeling more comfortable with every passing day.

Spring is finally here. Although you wouldn`t say that by the looks of my outfit.

Temperatures are still a bit funky and low, but hopfully it will get better.

 

Inspired by flowers? What has gotten into me? But, I have been daydreaming about sun, laying in the grass, looking up at the sky and cherry blossoms.

Yes, you`ve read it right. I know it is middle of January and that spring is nowhere near to be seen, but I do crave for the seasonal change. Maybe it’s because it is unusually warm for January, all this sun and temperatures around 10°C made me think of spring. And spring inspired outfits.

Wishing for cooler temperatures, a suitable weather for all the layering.

Great colors, fabrics and patterns, its and amazing outfit but the best part are the nails.

Although, I presume this was a spring outfit, I think that every fall could use some bright colors.

spring candy - preview

I am ashamed for being bad at blogging and MIA so I taunt you with this sneak a peak of my new purchases in past few days. I am too getting ready for spring. Several weeks ago when all this preparation for spring began, and stores started to seduce us with their new pastel collections (and my, its all about pastels this spring!!) I began to wonder "what in the name of lord, am I going to wear?!" (do you sense a bit of Hart of dixie influence here? Mrs Lemon totally took over with her southern charms. And yes, I'm a fan.). Back to the pastels. I have never been much of a candy color lover, but I said I will try it this year. Who knows when this trend will come back. Last time stores were flooded with pastels was nearly 10 years ago. I wasn't thrilled at first then either (Yes, I am that old ).

SO. Stay tuned to see what little things that warm my heart I bought.

Its just a plain boring tuesday. Hopfully just tomorrow and I`m off to a 4 day weekend, a mini break :) getting ready for spring, I just bought a new issue of Burda. and I plan to use this mini break for sewing, knitting, taking photos and working on a new project. A clue is in the photo(s) below.
