Animal prints, heavy knits and vinyl. Good enough for me  - this is an amazing editorial created by Ssense to introduce Burberry Prorsum to its audience.

Outfit in the first photo is pure perfection. All those prints make one strong but not colliding fashion statement which is even more accented with superb fabrics and design.

A One of A Kind Sneaker Experiment

"Converse Inc. announces its all-new collection with avant-garde French fashion house Maison Martin Margiela. The first-time Converse Maison Martin Margiela collaboration features the Chuck Taylor All Star and the Jack Purcell sneakers, each completely hand-painted in Maison Martin Margiela’s iconic white paint. Covering all canvas, eyelets, laces and soles, they naturally crack and shed their outer coat of paint to reveal the original colors beneath."

"The personality of the Converse Maison Martin Margiela 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star and Jack Purcell sneakers is discovered through an evolving dialogue between the bold colored canvas and clean paint. The more the sneakers are worn, the more their personality and color is revealed. “The Maison has always been obsessed with white; it is used as a layer to give an incognito feeling. A sort of poetry, with the passage of time, the shoe asserts itself,” says Maison Martin Margiela."

This is one of my favorite collaborations ever. And the fact I love chucks more than heels has everything to do with it. I love how they are just dipping the colored shoes not just producing "some" design. And how the "real" design comes over time as you wear the shoes. Amazing!

This is one of my favorite collaborations ever. And the fact I love chucks more than heels has everything to do with it. I love how they are just dipping the colored shoes not just producing "some" design. And how the "real" design comes over time as you wear the shoes. Amazing!

PFW SLP

Oct 1st is here, summer is gone, and PFW is right on time. Although I did not really like that Mr. Slimane changed the name, I really do like his collection presented on this PFW.

I was a bit skeptic, but, I think he did a really, really god job. And these are my favorite pieces from the collection. 

p.s. love these cute shinny socks.

Stiletto nails, yay or nay?

The (in)famous Lana del Rey stiletto manicure at first was on my "nay" list, but recently I have been rethinking this trend. I have been seeing pointy nails more and more on girls and women around me, and I have to say, I like them more and more with each new design I see.

Of course, my dear friend Pinterest, provided me with endless examples of designs regarding this (obviously) growing trend. Although I mostly have strict advocacy towards natural, short nails, sometimes something hits me and gel / acrylic nails appeal to me. But to be honest, even then I choose a moderate, elegant, somewhat demure design.

But, since YOLO, there are times to try something different and go all crazy. This time I choose to make a statement with my nails, and hopefully that will happen soon.
